A friend of mine's ex-wife (she passed away now unfortunately) but she married an ex military, Retired, then prison guard, retired. He's pulling two pensions before he's 60....

I know a man who retired from the military and Boeing, he draws 2 pensions and social security

Yep, wise choices early in life, I almost joined the military at 18 but I wanted to do the musician route and the car thing.. it don't pay much actually it cost a lot of money to do both of them and it's a lot of hard work on both ends. Can I say I had fun? maybe.. was it worth it in the end? hell no! You know what's funny everybody I know is property when I was buying all these old Mopars for 200 bucks 600 bucks 1500 bucks back in the day they didn't want me to set them in the yard they're begging for me to stick them in the yard now! And it just ain't happening you lost out on that deal then again so did I, by not buying property myself. Very serious mistake not investing in my future like that. Let's see, a 63 Dart Gt, a 71 Demon, a 71 and 74 Challenger, 4 Dusters, a BUNCH OF TRUCKS, 66, 67, 71 and 73 Satellites, the 71 Big Block, roller rocker solid cammed, a 77 Foretravel, mint, 34' , based on a D200, 440, A 68 Coronet, ( my baby, 383 4 spd).... I'm sure I'm forgetting A Fistful like the Dodge Macho 4 wheel drive I had...

I met a guy at a car show years ago that invested in what wasn't classic / desirable cars at the time. He said I'll take care of them and one day they will bring big money. I that I remember well was a hemi ralley challenger. Then again a good friend of my brother invested in property at 19 years old and is a multi millionaire today.

Yeah it's funny everyone that told me, I couldn't put my old cars on their property (even though they weren't old rusted up junk) cars is wishing like HECK I'd have stacked about 40 of them up there right now! Simply because they know me, they know I would take care of them, and they know the market is stacked right now! they WOULD have got a slice of that pie... not to mention they didn't have to foresight to see "they don't make those things anymore" so them old cars you like to see and less of them you see it's partly your fault! Don't ***** 'bout that Plastic Crap with the Slave Mined Toxic Batteries, heck they're great for the entire globe!!! And the environment!

I'm going to give you a call a little later on today (probably close to supper time) I got to have a talk with you about that YouTube channel! I've actually only seen one of your videos where you did the cam bearings, on I think a 383, Maybe? Actually the 383 Magnums one of my favorite Motors! Stroke like a small block, bore like a big block! And in the real world, we all know there's no replacement for displacement, but it's a beautiful thing to tach that mother up when you mat the gal!

Off topic, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed, that sometimes, it's hard to go back, edit your post, and the new algorithm ( or format) kind of keeps you from going back into the right spot to do it?

I thought his comment was funny when he stated out of the blue “My sister lives in Florida.” So I made a post after it saying, “Yeaaa OK, LMAO Random facts that won’t help you on Jeopardy’s final round.”
Sorry, I thought his random fact of his sister was funny because it was random and out of place. So I made a joke after it. Dan didn’t like it much I guess. All well. I tried to joke around but, it didn’t make the grade for Dan.

Glad to see you're doing better, so keep on hanging in there. I firmly believe that the Lord won't put any more on your shoulders than you can carry. Your body might still be a little tired right now, but you have a strong mind! When you get back to where you can drive some nails, you'll start getting even better! Hang in there Chuck....you're on the way up!

Overseas contracting there is good money in that and if you stay overseas 330 days a year most of it is tax free, social security depends on if the company you work for is US based or not.
