So you want a how to on how to big block swap?
There are several options, I have done it a few times.
There's option A.
Schumacher conversion mounts. I never did like them for 67 to 72 swaps, you have to trim the driver side perch and I think it reduces the strength of it. Plus you can't hardly find those anymore. I remember I ordered a set back in like 07 or 08 and talked to the old man himself. Nowadays I think he sold the business to some blokes who you can't reach.
There's option B.
Get a v8 spool mount k frame and move the perches to mimic the factory direct connection k frame and use stock 73 and up mounts. That's a great option but unfortunately in 2023, those ks are hard to come by and are not cheap anymore.
Option 3
The option I use: get a stock slant six k frame, spool or biscuit, no matter.
Cut the perches completely off and toss. Then get a sheet of steel of the same thickness of the original perches and fabricate a new perch that accepts stock B body mounts. They are available and strong because they have a cross bolt that goes through the perch and retainer pin on the face of the perch which i had not drilled out by the last pic. Not a complete pic set but gives you an idea.
Option D.
You can use motor plates that bolt or weld to the inner fenders. I personally don't like the race look, but some people do.
