Name a movie you DISLIKED that most others really liked

-
Those are some biggies. What sort of movies do you like?

I TOTALLY agree with the Matrix. When I tell people I did not like it, they always say something like, "Oh you just didn't understand it" or "You need to watch it several more times to understand it". What??? If a movie is so hard to understand, what good is it? Plus, what kind of a moron will tell you to go back and see a movie that you did not like several more times.

The only movie I know that is good from the start, and gets better each time you watch it is "the prestige"

Beetlejuice. It has to be the dumbest movie on the planet.
Clearly, you have never seen "lost in translation"

Most anything with knights, swords, dragons and chit like that. I caint stand that stuff. Only a scarce few of those type do I like.

Armageddon, good grief, A-list actors all looking like they trying their best to sell it while thinking " I can't believe I got roped into this ****!". Appropriately named flick, it IS Armageddon to the soul of anyone with a brain & any standards at all.

Armageddon means "valley of Megiddo"

How is that appropriate for a movie that takes place in space ?

Any modern movie with completely unrealistic stunts or fight scenes.
The Clint Eastwood Every which way but loose and Every which way you can are excluded.
Seeing a guy get punched in the face numerous times while somehow retaining all of his teeth, having no broken nose and barely any blood is impossible. I've been in fights. Anyone that takes that many hits incurs some damage.
Seeing a car jump from one skyscraper into another, then another is an insult to every cash paying customer.

Any movie or TV shows that have extended fight scenes, yet the combatants never seem to have any blood, or missing teeth, yeah I call BS. Same goes for scenes like foot pursuits that last for miles, then somehow develop into a physical fight. Uh huh, sure, I completely believe that, a guy can run thirty blocks in a suit and dress shoes, then trade punches for another 10 minutes. Yup.

Ever seen the A team ?

3575295028 rounds fired (all from 3 magazines) without a single casualty

I actually liked star wars until Disney took over, now you have gay inuendos and robots protesting and dumb **** like that.

The original star wars seemed a bit ahead of their time.

Not a Star Wars fan. Not a Jim Carey fan.
I’ve never seen a Star Wars movie, or ET, no Fast and Furious, and I think Vanishing Point was a worthless movie, as is Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry. Car chase scenes don’t interest me, especially when the entire movie is just car chases.

Blair Witch Project, a low budget docu thriller that went national

the wizard of oz
I am from Kansas. I have to say I like that movie.

No kidding! I love it when a guy takes 4 of 5 full force hits to the face with NO blood and NO damage.
Brokeback Mountain
Are you admitting that you actually went to see it???

You might as well admit that you wear dresses and drink Bud Light....

How about the Blues Brothers?. Lots of wrecked cars, and some really cool music.

Don't try to get philosophical....A man that doesn't like car movies isn't a man that I'd associate with anyway.
I've watched car related movies with Fords or Chevys as the main car. Mad Max. White Lightning. Two Lane Blacktop. American Graffiti.
The movies that you mentioned had plots. Just because YOU didn't like them, that isn't sufficient grounds to say that they were pointless.
There are lots of movies that I don't like.
Most of the Fast and Furious movies have plots but I think that they are outlandish and stupid, in my opinion.

The first one that came to mind was The Matrix.

I just can't get over- if they can manipulate "reality", why do they need guns?

...and yes, I understand it.

I also don't care much for any movie (...and the whole "superhero universe" is a HUGE offender) that is basically 2 hours of people fighting.
