What's the go to for radiators?

-
Thanks to all who responded. I don't know if a US Radiators radiator is really in the budget right now, so I'm going to see if I can track down a Champion. It's good to know that some have had success with the Chinesium as well, if it comes to that.
Well the good news is, more have had good luck with them than bad. What I would recommend is, find one with two rows of either 1.25" or 1.50" tubes. That should cool nearbout anything.

Shouldn't there be a good factory 1966 auto with A/C radiator out there that just needs a good cleaning ?

If I could find one, I'd consider it. These were hard enough to find decades ago, however.

Last time I took an old brass radiator to a shop for cleaning, though, they told me they couldn't clean it out because the rust and gunk were all that was holding it together.

If you're going that route, allow me to recommend a Champion Cooling Systems radiator over a Champion radiator. Two separate companies most people don't ever discuss. Avatar has the former (Champion Cooling Systems, #526 with 3 rows) and cools just fine on the streets and track here in Florida (even with the dreaded electric fans so many dislike!).

I think I have one. Doesn't the 66 have the radiator with the offset bracket on one side?

Good question, my Dart had radiator damage when I got it and an effort to have a radiator shop fix it lasted only a year or so. I stuffed an Aspen radiator in there and haven't seen a stock radiator for decades. But if you post a picture I can probably tell if it will fit.

I think I have a close year, not sure what year this is. Check the pic below. It needs a good cleaning. Let me find it in my garage.

Here it is. Got a pic of the number, too. If my memory is right, it came up for a 66 slant 6 A body.

Nice! Does it have transmission cooler fittings? I can't see them in the picture.

That looks like one RRR .....mine is out of a 1966 factory A/C car and the # has a little solder on it....think it's 2682970.
