Acquired a 69 340 swinger. Kinda cool car. Last on the road 1983. I believe this is when it was involved in a mishap. Damaged pass front right fender and rocker. All original. 340 auto, factory A/C, mostly still wearing its original paint. No modifications, p.s. drum manual brakes, stripe delete, R6 paint, black vinyl roof, black interior. Have the fender tag and build sheet. Got it home and got it running. Can't believe how good it runs. Anyway thinking of releasing it back into the wild as I might never get to it. OK let's hear what the membership thinks it's worth other than what someone is willing to pay.

This is after a little polish. Crazy how well the paint came up. Unfortunately its had a bit of a rough life. Nothing wrong with single stage enamel.

if the frame isn't totally wasted? maybe 5K to somebody that has to have one and wants a long term project that has a lower entry threshold money wise.

and that's a BIG maybe.
 
The undercarriage, ie the "frame" as you call it is very good. Kentucky registered and I found it in Tennessee. Not a rust belt car. Don't have pics at the moment other than this.

More pictures of under side, spare tire well, maybe remove carpet show floor, rear window channel ect would go a long way to determine value.

If you have time to fix brakes new fuel tank ect get it so it can drive it would appeal to a much broader range of buyers. Maybe paint fender and door red. But down side you'd likely become attached to it and keep it if you got it driving.

Complete 340 Darts unmodified like that aren't exactly growing on trees these days. Not many 340 cars were factory AC either and looks like all the AC stuff is all there too. Red helps a lot too.

Interior is tuff. All there but needs seat covers, headliner, carpet (rubber mat originally), dash pad. Door panels will clean up. Dash bezels are all there, not cracked, broken or modified. Could use as is unless one wants a Barrett Jackson queen ??

oh, sorry i didn't realize that we were beholden to technical terms.

i should've specified that the condition of the unitized body and the supporting structural elements will play a big part in the overall value of the vehicle. the cabin and its accoutrements shall also weigh heavily on the sum, but more in an overarching manner for the sole instance that much of these items are replaced or repaired easily in the grand scheme of things.

You think that's all with the matching drive train? And running? I was thinking more, but I'm not good at this kinda thing.

All of the vendors that sell body parts call them "frame rails" so I think frame is a solid term, whether it's unibody or not. I think it's a pretty decent looking start for somebody.

You really hit the head of the nail there. Lol. Exactly my plan. Get it up and moving but as you said I might fall in love with it as I'm a 69 340 dart nut. Well just nuts. Lol. My original swinger was black till I painted it blue in 1979. Still have it. Yeah sucker for 69 swingers/GTS's

he said running. running ≠ road worthy. runnin' ain't drivin'. what would it take to put that on the road, safely and reliably?

it's matching #'s and that's very cool. a lot going for it there. but to make this car nice, and i'm not talking show winner or anything, but very respectable piece you're gonna be into it what? 20? not including the purchase. what can you go buy for that?

i think it's probably a great start for somebody that wants a 69 340 car, has the time and skill to build it but doesn't have the 30K to lay out for one up front.

No need to be sorry or beholden to technical terms, just saying. And I agree with your assessment. Like to add that the region or geographical situation might also play into the assessment. Vehicles bought and lived in my neck of the woods didn't last long let alone 50 plus years.

Good quarter panels, running 340....AC as a kicker.

IMO 10K.

Have you checked the numbers on the engine block?

Price goes up if they match.
