So close, 9.03 with long wheelie

Is it just me or do the back tires seem to bite twice? Not sure if that's the correct way to describe it, but to my eyes (and computer?) it looks as though there's a little "hitch" or "hop" to the tires on take-off if you play just first second of the video over and over again.

Of course it could just be the quality of the video as well....

Regardless, congratulations and good luck! That's an awesome ride, and you're getting to your goal! :thumbsup:
 
Hell yeah dude, that sounds great and looks like a dream to drive. Congratulations you have one hell of a car, by the end of the month you'll have that 8.99 et
 
You just need .03? Take some exlax or similar and crap your brains out.

That’ll get you that. Just make sure you have plenty of TP and clean drawers in case you get stuck in the lanes and shat yourself.

It never happened to me, but I’ve heard stories…
 

I wanted to hit the 8’s this year but I came up shy. Still really excited launching the car. Feels so good.

My season is over. This happened after I let go of the button in first round. Cut a 003 light and did a 1.23 60’ before it went bad.

I had to do that to my car too. Bent the mounts.
But mine is a ladder bar car, and friends alerted me to a problem they could see, but I couldn't feel. And I never got out of shape because of it.
But I was almost a full second slower, and down about 400 horsepower to yours.( I'm old, low tens is fine with me!)


And just as an aside, I love oddball drag cars. I would love to know what that was in the other lane! (Alpine/tiger?)

Yes I got off lucky. At first I thought I blew a tire or a shock.

good thing it wasn't worse, i have fresh paint on the car i don't want to redo lol
 
Ladder bar bracket is fixed. I welded in supports and gussets. Should be a lot stronger than before. I already picked up an anti roll bar, next week I’ll tackle that.
