So to my fellow Canucks, I ask, where is the best place in Canada to buy a new windshield?? There are some inexpensive suppliers in the US, but to get it here I think would be insane.

Drop by your local glass replacement shop and see if they can obtain, otherwise it's AMD via National Moparts.
Thats what Ive been doing, today I went to pick up one that I had ordered from a local shop and it was tinted, and I ordered clear. They are hunting for me, but Im afraid that they wont be able to get clear. Too bad too cause it was a smoking good price! And yup, NM is first on my list if they cant come through. Thanks!

You can get also AMD through Classic in Calgary or RPM in Saskatoon (I don't recommend them) but they aren't $200 windshields. You can also get Pilkington? through auto glass shops or at least they said they could a couple of years ago. They advised me that it might be thinner than OEM.

I have Safelite glass in my Barracuda and a mosquito can chip it ! There is a difference between cheap and high end glass …
And I never tailgate .

I have shared this before. Safelite SUCKS. I have gotten quotes from them twice. The first time, I got a quote for my 93 Dakota. It was over $300. Plus they got real pushy and wanted a bunch if information, and they kept pushing for me to set up an installation appointment. I only called because of the commercials. Then I called Jayhawk Glass and auto body. $125 installed. The second time (several years later), I called Safelite only to see how much higher they would be than Jayhawk. It was for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Safelite was over $400, and they were still being pushy. Jayhawk was right at $200. How do they stay in business?

Afraid to ask what a windshield costs up there now
about 600 bucks plus shipping from National Moparts, havent checked Classic yet.
Mind you, my local shop got me a tinted/shaded windshield(which I cant use and did not order in the first place) for under 300 bucks. They are checking their suppliers for the correct clear glass that I need, hopefully they can find it cheap as well
