Took the oil pan off today to fix a small leak in the back. Since the pan is off, good time to check things over. So far it looks good.

to bad Fowler sold out. Nice pieces.Does Fowler use a serrated cap and rod or is it pinned?
Back in the day I used Groden rods because he used pins. Those things were freaking nice. If I could buy them today I would and I’d run them on the street.

I can’t think of the company that bought them out at the moment. Think it’s a blower company?Yeah, thats a far better way to decide the cap than serrations.
Did the new owners go to serrations?
With the 355” W2 I have BME aluminum rods. 320 runs I would change them out.How many runs do you get out of those rods before you change them out? I know that in the "old days" aluminum rods were cycle limited, due to fatigue. Not sure if that's the case anymore.
Larry Morgan Racing bought Fowler rods. took me a while to remember but the good part is...... i did remember!!!!
I haven’t reached out yet. I should do that just to know if they are still making the rods. I’ll need a set in 2 years.Do you know if he changed them or left them alone?
