Heck, they were cool, back in the day!!!! '59 Chevy Impala..
Pa bought a used one back in about 1964. I promptly took it out that night, picked up a girl at the teen club, got it on a flat straight two lane blacktop, the mighty 283 got up to 115 before it ran out of wind. Made a U turn, it stalled and would not start. We walked about a mile so and found a house with a phone. Called Pa.
Pa wanted to know what we were doing way out there. And I learned how to start a Chevy with a screwdriver on the starter.

The early 60s dodge stuff was all sinful

Yeah, this. Definitely this. This looks like an alien with radiation-induced birth defects.

I’m with you. That one takes the cake. I can grow to appreciate the Aztek in a weird way. And th Tesla truck too. But that thing. In no universe can I imagine determining it acceptable.

Here’s one I saw in Morocco. Ugly and disproportionate. But not like that thing hahaha.

They are love'm or hate'm models. Just like a first gen Charger for example, as we all know. I belong to the love'm group. One of my ultimate cars is the 62 Max wedge. Hard to find 40 years ago!
Since they were "different " looking right out of the factory in '62, Ma Mopar did not sell so many, plus they downsized that year b body, sorta rar ish!
Funny thing is I had a guy drive from Pa. to here a few years ago, for a 62 4 door car, complete roller, I did all the body/paint on but rust free and cheap! He made a cop car out of it. A good 2 door 62 builder is never cheap if you find one.

My parents bought this one new. I always loved it. Kept it clean, shiny and spotless until I moved out on my own. Pic is from the summer of 1968, a few months after we swapped the 361 for a 440.

No wonder it was the end of the line if this was the best their designers could come up with, worse than the 62 Dodge?

Back in the 90s I meet a couple of guys at a Mopar show/swap in S.C. both had a few nice 62 B bodies, one was a vert, both had max wedges in them!!!!!
I had picked up a 413 MW short block motor back home in SW Ga. on my run, and had it for sale at the show. One of them was a dentist and bought the motor and had me deliver it to his office the next day, Mon. Funny part was he had me bring it on on a hand truck into his office, and I put it in one of his little rooms with the chair and all. As I went past the receptionist, she just looked at me and said "I'm not surprised>"
Proper Southern lady ( I hope she did not tell his wife!) ..... Probably not......
