What is it with some people..

-
It's the people that may think they are buying a mostly original car and may not know. If you are going to refer to someone as a con man that makes something look original but it isn't, to be fair the same can be said about parts that are made to look like something they aren't.
*cups hands over mouth*

BBBUUUULLLLLSSSSHHHHHHHIIIIITTTTT

there's a VAST difference between repop parts and using chicken wire and bondo to repair a rotted out car and then acting as if it is a cromulent repair. anybody that's trying to compare the two is clearly delusional and only trying to rationalize their absolutely unacceptable hack work.

Car isn't for sale but I certainly would tell all I know. I wonder if people that load their cars up with repop parts tell everyone which parts are not original Mopar parts. That's what I would be concerned about .
So your car has NOS chicken wire, fiberglass and bondo? Please share your source, I am sure others want to buy some too.

OK, chicken wire.
We did that **** fifty years ago when we were teenagers.
Did you clean and treat areas before application ? Did you seal areas against penetration ? Did you check areas periodically ? I didn't use chicken wire like you claim to have done. I don't think that was your only problem though.

What about cylinder heads that were supposed to be ported and money for springs valeves and retainers ?
Very curious like a cat even !

We were kids that knew it was a hack repair on a POS $50 car.
What's your excuse?
No, don't answer that, I don't give a frack. Nobody else does either.

Times sure have changed. Use to could buy a car for 50 dollars and now it costs me that much to repair the body on one.

Just reading you can fix the body for 50 dollars tells everyone everything they need to know about you.
Thank you, but they can see it detailed step-by-step in my thread also . You get the video for being on point.

Yes, a step by step of how to completely ruin the lower quarter panel of a car and make it harder for the poor bastard next owner to fix than it would have been had you left it alone.

chicken wire+fiberglass+bondo = con man

Notice, that doesn't say "= preservation", because the car in your thread would have lasted longer, and remained in better shape, had you done NOTHING at all to it. Everything you did made it worse, and harder to repair in the future. And yes, I know because I've repaired cars with exactly that kind of con job performed on them. You can't "seal it" and make that butchery right.
