Am hoping it will work well.. Annular boosters which i have never had before.. and all the air bleeds and ****.. i have only ever used old holleys.. so this will probably make me nuts figuring it out.
 

Yes there were trends. Fins in the lats 50's, boxier in the early 60's swoopy styles in the late 60's. But we had choices. Which car family did you follow. Did the new offerings change your mind? What new drive trains would sway you! Major corporations making an all out effort to win your loyalty. Now its about beating the governments regulations. Nobody in the 50's forsaw this happening.

Yet, you'd think that they could still design something with some class and personality, not the homogenous, all-look-the-same, quasi-aerodynamic lumps that they shove down our throats now.
The best looking cars now are just rehashes of fifty year old designs and styling cues- Challengers, Mustangs, Camaros... And don't blame it all on aerodynamics and the quest for more MPGs- the most popular vehicles on the road are trucks and SUVs, with all the aerodynamics of a Winnebago. The only actual new design has been the Tesla Dumpster, designed by a raccoon on acid. No wonder we love old cars.
