Taking my 1974 Dodge Dart to NM Track Day 2026

This was the second year I was invited to a private track day outside of Deming, NM. Decided to take some footage just using my iphone and put together a bare bones video. The first video was 17min long with a lot of footage from my windshield just going around the track. I did cut some stuff to make a slightly shorter one that is only 13min long haha.

Anyway, if you are bored here is the video. Always fun to try and see if I can get the dart to go around corner quickly.

Super cool! I'd love to do that with my Barracuda. I've done some autocross with the local SCCA, but those "tracks" are always so short I never get out of second gear. What was the name of the facility and how can one get in on the private track days?

Yeah it was a good time. I have done SCCA as well and it is fun too. Haven't been in a couple years though.

This track is outside Deming, NM. Arroyo Seco Raceway. The owner did mention he is in the process of selling though. The person lined up to buy it at this point wants to keep it a racetrack which is good. So hopefully it sticks around. The straight also doubles as a 1/4mi dragstrip which is cool.
