My 10 year old Grandson Logan (The Loganator!) won one of the new 75th Anniversary
Diamond Wallys at the Western States Divisional race Sunday!
This is just his second-year racing in competition now racing against kids several years older and with 5
or 6 year's experience. He just became old enough to compete in then 8.90 class of Jr.
Dragster. My son who prepares the car is just getting the feel of tuning and racing a much faster
class of dragsters than he raced last year. I bought him a lighte/tricker _"state of the art" dragster for the
new class!
Jon (his dad_ won his first Wally at the Arizona Nationals when he was 15 and 7 months old. I believe
he is the youngest to ever accomplish that honor. I sure would like one of the one year only Diamond Wally,
maybe Logan will let me hold his.
Well, I was older than both of them combined when I won my first of some 30 something. . Last one I won was last
