That looks great! Love the attention to detail. I need that kind of patience.

well, made some progress this weekend. first off i painted the motor timing cover, w/p and intake. got the cam, lifters, timing chain, timing cover, w/p, oil pan, intake, and valve covers installed. the intake fit with only a 1/8" gap at the bottom with the gaskets. set a nice bead of silicone and it was good.

Damn Steve that is looking sweet. Are you trying to win the Spring Fling this year?

Mine will not be 100% complete but I will be parking next you at the Fling. I won't have the blue canvas top installed yet. Still looking for a good shop for that.

Once again it looks great.

well......WE GOT PAINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it looks pretty darn nice. a few spots of orange peel, but overall really nice. the wheels came out great too. unfortunately, 1 wheel is slightly bent. not bad, but you couldn't see it when i had the wheels themselves checked for balance. driving it will soon tell me.

now its time to pull the lead out and get this going!!! i have to drive to a show on the 27th of this month. its the pacific coast dream machines show at half moon bay airport.

NICE!!!!!!!!!! Those ralleys with the trim rings look AWESOME! Get crackin Dude!

I myself am getting ready to go spend the day under my heap. It's suppose to be in the 70's.... I'm NOT going to waste the day.

Post more progress pic's as soon as you can. I'll (try...) and do the same.

I like the wheel and tire combo. It really looks good on your car.

I like the detail on the wiring and brake lines. Way to go Steve!

Right? Steve is doing a NICE job on his little project! I hope he makes his deadline with time to spare!

You'll do it. You're SOOO MUCH closer to driving than I am!

BTW: How was Anita's visit to NY for the wedding? I'm sorry we couldn't hook up as I was sick and then had prior obligations. Send me a PM ...

progress from the weekend.

got the headlights/relays wired, the msd mounted and the harness made, horns and wiper motor painted, installed. i also threw a quick coat of paint on the k-frame. just have the rear brake line to swap in and the master to install. the only thing not figured out is the tranny cooler.

i also got the prop valve and brake lines in and also polished the hell out of the valve covers and heads.

if all goes as planned, the engine/trans go in tuesday night.

Looking good Steve! Good thing those English guys didn't cause any trouble. I can remember a few times tripping over Johnny Walkers cane myself....

BTW: Cool self-portrait. 8)

All right!

I bet you're relieved to have the motor back where it belongs.

Now hop a jet and come help me get mine installed! LOL!

can we post a video here or do we have to host it on another site?
