Should I put these on my Valiant? I have always liked the look of vintage stainless ventshades, but not sure how they look on my car. I got them on ebay, they are new old stock, made for 63-66 Valiant 2-door sedans, very hard to find. What do you think?

He aslo has fender skirts on his car, I figured he may like them!

He will, trust me. You have such a cool bare bones look to your car. I say stay with the theme that you have so succesfully cultivated. Alot of people here want to go the same route. What you have, works. :) It's your car though, do want you want. I dig it as it is, but in the long run it's your car, do what makes you happy! :)

Thanks ramcharger, maybe I could sell them to memike, they might look better on his car!

Keith I like them and say leave them on!

I will just say I would not put them on my car. I don't like the extra chrome and I don't think they fit the car. If your car looked more like the granny car maybe. And what I mean by that is, Steelies with hubcaps, solid white with no hole in the hood. But I will say that I have some of those on my 75 Power Wagon.

Id leave them off looks much cleaner - I do love that bench seat, is that original interior. ?

I think you dun good, And yes I would bye them if you don't use them.
I say cool :-D

You're nuts. Looks like cheap crap you get at Auto Zone. Ditch 'em. They don't fit with the theme of your car.

All you need now is some curb feelers and spokes with wide white walls.
You be Pimpin grandpa.
LOL!

I like them. They are vintage parts and it's not like they are non functional. To me it makes the car more useful.

They are a stock item so better for stockers, but it's your car. If you like them, keep them! It IMHO is more of a custom stock look like the low rider bombs with all thier oem goodies.
By the way, your car is looking very sweet, I too like the slots.

Got a set for my 340 65 wagon - besides looking period, it'll give it that grannie (or in my case Grandpa look) great for blowing away that Ferd or Shivy!
