My friend is in a pretty good garage band. They play Punk music so dunno if any younger members would be interested (not that its only for young members :p).... Anyway, I have met all the members (drummer is really cool)... and the lead guitarist is one of my good friends. Anyway... thought I would post their myspace if anyone is interested.

This may be a stupid thing to post but I dunno....

Punk is pretty old by now. Hell, I used to frequent the Smiling Buddha in the days of my youth. Vancouver had quite the punk scene in the late 70s/early 80s. DOA, Pointed Sticks, Rude Norton, The Subhumans, Art Bergman & the Young Canadians...

Haha yeah... I didnt meant the genre itself was new.... just thought there would be more interest in the younger crowd. Correct me if I'm wrong of course!!!

Got another friend in a metal/hardcore band and then another in a heavy metal band and another in a death metal band... these guys are the calmest of the 4

Ah yes.... the calm before the storm. lol

One of the guitarists in one of the other bands is having a party to benefit a charity (cant rememeber which one) and all 4 of them are playing... that should be pretty funny

do i lissin to punk rock? well i dont have a 7 inch tall mohawk for nuthing lol
punk rock is my life haha

Like a lot of the old school stuff and newer horror punk

Misfits, Samhain, and newer stuff being Zombeast, Calabrese, Biltzkid and a few others.

Like a lot of the psycobilly punk cross over too, Tiger Army and Koffin Kats.

Still have about 400+ vinyl going back to about 83' when I started getting into it. Don't go to shows much anymore, just not into dealing with some folks, usually the burnt out alcoholic/drugged out older ones. I also was involved heavily in the bay area punk scene in the 90's when I moved here and it's VERY clicky......another reason I put distance between it and me.

So those of you that listened to their recording... are they ok you think? Just trying to get feedback from all sorts of people so I can let them know.

All my life. Social Distortion and Bad Religion are my favorite bands. I was a monster DK fan. They have a good sound.

Brutal Death Metal All The Way!!!!!!!!!!!
You'd like my other friends band... these are the only decent vids (one of their drummer during a drum battle, and the other of a song at the same party. They will have demoes up too soon I guess... they're being recorded at the same place the Punk band did, haha.
