I was wondering if i can use a 1973 - 1975 dart center link bar on a 1971 dart

I bought this 1971 dart i guess it had a 440 in it at one time they took it out i found a manual steer gear in the car year unknowen. they cut the center link idler and pitman so now i'm try to fiqure out what i have to do I have a 383 to put in it

I have a 67-72 and a 73+ center link.

One question. Which direction does the stud from your Pitman and Idler point that the link attaches, up or down?

Answer that and you can get the appropriate centerlink. $25 + shipping from Indio if you need one.

the previous owner cut the center link and i bought one it form a 73 dart not sure if it will work

you need a 67-72 centerlink. I have one if you are interested.

i m intrested if this one that is coming does not work my email is ray_gdls@yahoo

If you can find one closer, ANY 67-72 centerlink is the same.

If not it's about $40 delivered for the one I have here in California..

I just bought an Idler Arm for a '73 Dodge Dart, and the threads go Down into the Center Link. My original '72 Idler Arm go's up into the '72 Center link. I'm using a '73 Center Link, Pitman and Idler Arms in my '72 Dart with a 440. It offers the Center Link to be much lower so it won't hit my oil pan. I hope this is helpful.
