Cudaman sound is right on. I had an early 65 Hi-Po 273 4 speed back in the day that tape brings back a lot of memories. There is really no sound like it. Porsche Ferrari even a Real Ford GT that a friend let me drive is great but not the same. Spend the bucks do it once you'll be glad you did.

Sounds like you have a good part number for the studs. Have you tried calling a couple of local parts suppliers maybe they have some left in the bin if they are not produced any longer. End of stud will have H131 stamped on it. I've got some but not for sale. 273-typo Just checked my receipt...

Update: Well a local tire shop did some checking and found Hancook 101T in 265/50/15 for me. They should be in next week tread pattern looked pretty good in the small photo. Anyelse looking fills a 67 Barracuda wheel well nicely on a 15 by 8 Crager rim height is 25.4 section width 10.7.
