Hot Rod article Sept. 1966 on a 67 383 Formula S with 3:23 rear ran 0-60 in 7.2 sec. the 1/4 in 15.15 no mph given, that was bone stock. I've got a .30 over with ported 915 heads and a .528 solid lifter cam TTI's 3000 stall converter and with 3.23 ran a best of 13.26 with a best 60 foot time of...
Cudaman sound is right on. I had an early 65 Hi-Po 273 4 speed back in the day that tape brings back a lot of memories. There is really no sound like it. Porsche Ferrari even a Real Ford GT that a friend let me drive is great but not the same. Spend the bucks do it once you'll be glad you did.
I have a Turbo Action 17805T tight 10 inch for a 10 inch bolt circle flex plate for a 727 trans. that Needs Rebuilt. The flash was about 3400 with a warmed up 383. Definately nothing against Turbo Action the converter was 10 years old. The only reason I did not get it rebuilt myself and...
Update: Well for my own sanity and creditabilty I took a ride to see my master mechanic and car guy friend with two studs in hand. He comes out with a nice micrometer in a fitted box and measures the knurls. One was .561 other .563 well within Dorman pasted specs of .565. He doesn't like...

Well I checked my old parts stash and found I do have more than I thought, The part number on my receipt was indeed 610-130 but I checked and they are left hand someone messed up. Anyway I have 5 610-131 left hand thread (checked with bolt) $3.50 each plus the freight. If you want me to double...
Sounds like you have a good part number for the studs. Have you tried calling a couple of local parts suppliers maybe they have some left in the bin if they are not produced any longer. End of stud will have H131 stamped on it. I've got some but not for sale. 273-typo Just checked my receipt...
Update: Well a local tire shop did some checking and found Hancook 101T in 265/50/15 for me. They should be in next week tread pattern looked pretty good in the small photo. Anyelse looking fills a 67 Barracuda wheel well nicely on a 15 by 8 Crager rim height is 25.4 section width 10.7.
Hey many thanks for the replies. I do know that 10 year old tires are not a good idea but don't go to far or often anymore. I did call A-1 tire in Pompono and he said Hancook makes one in that size but he was hesitant on shipping so I found some locally but I want to see the tread pattern...
Original cast iron exhaust manifolds from a 67 383 Barracuda that I installed TTI's on and probably never use again. No cracks that I can find and the heat riser is working freely. Left one is marked 289002 and right is 2863900 with some letters ot numbers under the part number. Really hard to...
