    Plug readings

Hi guys, I just pulled my plugs and am looking for thoughts on them from guys with more experience than me. I’ve had them in for last season cruising and then cruising + two weekends of drag racing this year. I appreciate any help, thanks guys. Mike N.

Valve Cover Gasket Question (yes, another)

Be sure to check that there’s no interference and that your valve covers are sitting as they should. When I changed from a single plane intake manifold to a dual plane I had the smallest oil leak that took some time to find where it was coming from. The dual plane intake was stopping the valve...

W2 with Dual plane intake performance

Just glancing at your build it sounds like you went for a lot more power than I did and I can see the single plane maybe being a better fit for you. For a quick comparison I did: .020 over 340 MP dual plane Racer brown SFT cam - 543 lift & 242/242 duration @ .050 Unported heads A833 four speed

W2 with Dual plane intake performance

I can share my experience with the Mopar Performance W2 dual plane intake manifold. I built my 340 for a street car and initially had a MP M1 single plane intake manifold, with that it made 440HP and 420TQ on an engine dyno (later dyno’d 370 RWHP & 374 RWTQ). I drove it for the year but felt...

    Where does this bracket belong?

Sorry, jumped the gun and forgot to add that info. ‘69 340 dart with a 4-speed.

    Where does this bracket belong?

Hey guys, I’m trying my hand at racing for the first time and after a couple runs this bracket dropped down at my feet. For the life of me I can’t find where it belongs, I checked with a couple other 4-speed about guys at the track and think it’s part of the pedal assembly but where...

Any Magnum 500's on a blue dart?

I ended up going with Cragars for the dart, 14x6’s in the front and 15x7’s in the back to fit 255/60R15’s. I’m very happy with the look, a bit more rake and I like how the wheels match the chrome trim & bumpers.

    Leaf spring shackle angle

Thanks guys, I’ll tighten everything up and see how it drives in a few months. Seeing as the shackles fall in the acceptable position I’ll let the springs settle before looking at a spacer. Cheers, Mike N.

    Leaf spring shackle angle

Yes the tires are on the ground with full weight of the car on them.

    Leaf spring shackle angle

Yes those are the nylon locknuts that came with the Dr. diff kit. I haven’t tightened anything yet I just have them on by hand, once tightened yes there will be threads past the nuts. Still have a foot of snow on the ground here so talking it out for a drive isn’t an option for awhile yet.

    Leaf spring shackle angle

Hi guys, My swinger had the original leaf springs with extended shackles that I swapped out for Dr. diff offset hanger & shackles along with new +1” springs from Espo. What do you all think of the shackle angle? Ok where it is or should I add spacers behind the shackle bracket to move the...

    Leaf spring rear bushing question

Thank you. That’s what I was thinking but thought that I’d double check before cutting them down. Cheers, Mike N.

    Leaf spring rear bushing question

Hi guys quick question on these leaf spring rear bushings. I bought new springs and bushings from espo, looking at the bushings they are longer than the sleeve on the spring. Im guessing that I cut the bushing down so it fits the sleeve or is it meant to be longer and compresses that much when...
