Hinge pin removal '66 Cuda deck lid

When we the first one of mine appart we found out that the pin was fine it was the upper part on the hinge that was worn. Left the other one alone and decided to forget about it. A new gasket and did help keep the lid from making any noise or moving. Hope that helps. If not drill it out?

D64 / A dual quad Edelbrock (and other intakes)

I knew as soon as I hit the post button it was on. JJ I am 99% sure that if I had the time and a D64 sitting around I would start playing. I did reading sometime back that if you fill and redrill it actually works pretty well. But you are 100% on the TOOLs you get when you try to call and...

Why not just find the correct intake instead of destroying a good hard to find part. JMO

    The $5,800.00 mistake

As i read this it does make me laugh. $5800 for a touch up would be way to high but a touch up, re-clear the entire car, cut and buff. I don think its to out of line. Cost of materials is not what is bad on this one its the hours that its gonna take to do. Hell I spent 3-4 hours on buffing and...

    The $5,800.00 mistake

This is why I will never have a 100pt show car. If you like to enjoy YOUR car as it sits in the garage and looks pretty thats up to you. But if you like to do burn outs go to the track and put 10K miles a year on it touch up. Its your car do with it what you think is right. If $5800 is what it...

    Coil Over Identification

I would check with the local Yamaha shop. Looks about the same size as the adjustable coil over on my Raptor 700R. On a side note. When I did the exhause on my 65 about 6 years ago I made 2 cut outs for the tips. I thought I was the only one with that way cool idea. Guess not. Your looks...
