Another 360 Build

well i am going to pick up my 360 and trans tomorrow. Will start teardown Sunday or Monday. As for tonight I will be pulling an all nighter to get the 65 back together. Got the converter back from shop just need to stab the trans back in. Get the car off the jack stands and fire it up. Will post some pics this weekend of the 65. My wife said the yard is starting to look like a Mopar car lot.. thats exactlly what i want.

On a side note Found a 71 scamp. No motor trans or title. but the body is in great shape. grill and bumpers are all there and complete. $450.00 i dont think i can pass it up. And i will probably get to sleep in the garage this weekend if i do

You might want the yard to look that way. But if she's mentioning it, she doesnt...lol. Take it from me... Keeping them in the dark and minimizing and/or ignoring her feelings on your hobby is what I did. Did I say after 10 years I was divorced last year...lol ? The new girlfriend doesnt understand the tech, but understand the emotion so she's cool with stuff.

Well, for me, the wife and I like to turn a wrench togther.

She changed a starter herself on her 74 /6 Dart Swinger. That was before I met her. She also helped me put a front clip on her 77 Granada.

After that she drove a VW & she said she wanted to learn to adjust the valves herself, since it was supposed to be done about every 3,000 miles. Never happened.

She comes out & works the jack or hoist for me or simple stuff like that sometimes, but that's about it. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty (or MINE! :-D ) working in the yard or on home improvement stuff though.

I went the opposite way, kept mine in the loop on everything, all my hobbies, feelings, etc - and her lawyer brought it all up during my divorce after 9 years of marriage - I guess we both chose poorly :angry7:

Well after a long weekend of getting the trans back together plans have changed on the 360 build. Trans install went great no leaks!

So the plan now is 408! Ive had the 65 going on 22 years and it deserves it. And today is my b-day so why not just spend some cash and get the stroker kit for my self!

The only question I have for you guys right now is which brand?

SCAT or Eagle?
