I will be there with the family. I don't have the Valiant together quite yet, but we will be bringing our 1980 Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle. We are actually vendors at the show, come by booth #163 and say Hello!

My wife and I have a small company that sells custom car art, we had hoped to attend the Megaspeed show as a vendor, but it just didn't work out this year. At least we know that we are definitely "in" for Moparfest.

I made mine out of 11 gauge but I think the stock front and rear frames that we are connecting are 14 gauge (some one correct me if I'm wrong).

Here are a few pics of my US 66 valiant. Let me know if you need something more specific, I can take some pics this weekend. The car came stock with rear seatbelts, bucket seats and auto trans. The 4-speed floor hump is aftermarket advertised as fitting 67-76.

I used thick wire and bent it along the floor to get the basic shape. Transfered that to the press board and cut it out. I then put the press board in place and used a thick black marker to trace along the floor and the press board then cut out the black marks on the press board to refine the...

Thanks! It cost me $40 Canadian for the channels bent to spec. Maybe another $20 in supplies (cut off wheels, welding wire etc). Not sure how much they weigh.

Here are the ones I made for my 66. The pattern is made out of press board and I had a local shop bend the channel out of 11 gauge. I then transfered the pattern to the metal channel and cut it out.

Your car is looking great. I see in another thread you have the paint booth ready to go and waiting for your car. I ended up just hacking the lip off the back and making a piece to fit. Hope the pictures help

I used the "$149" one Vic mentioned. Here's how it looked fresh out of the box, sitting on the floor of my 66 Valiant.

Here's a pic of mine. It's a 66 but it's a complete and original car (still has the original paint and factory stickers). Not sure if there was any difference under the hood from 65 to 66...
