Turbo 400 explode factory drums just like a 727. Yes a little more to build but if you already own the trans and I already had a 3.5 alum driveshaft with 1350 joints. So for me it was way cheaper. A conversion bell housing is 400, what do you want to say it cost to convert your car's floor boards and cross member? Let's say 300( I think that's a little on the cheap side). Ok now we have to buy a flex plate and spacer for the crank, about 250. Now I need to make new drive shaft 400. So now...

Don't get me wrong, I have a powerglide for my car and will put it in some day, but it wont be because my 727 cant handle the hp. A two speed just works better and is faster drag racing and that's what I do most with my street car.

Just wondering what do the hemi super stock cars run? Do they make any power?

I have a 727 that I run with 730 hp na then hit it with 175 hp of nitrous. Its on its third season took it apart, looks good so back together it goes. I have 2500 in my trans, how much do you have in your trans, floor and front end to make this work?

I guess with all the extras, headers distribtor, etc it's worth 4000 to 4500.

2500-3500 depending on how complete it is carb to pan with water pump higher end long block lower end. What intake? Ported? By who? Etc

The car is mini tubbed and has caltracs and full stock front suspension only Afco shocks on it.
