I've also used IN4007's, they are more robust. Using 2 dedicated wires from the ignition switch to the EFI constant voltage lead, the diode allows crank request current to not interfere with run current and blocks run current from re-energizing the crank circuit.
if you don't have a constant 12v post on your ignition switch (run/start), I have, on a couple efi conversions and hemi installs just run another wire from the starter post (on the switch) with a diode to prevent current from returning to the switch. Splice the new wire and the run wire and both...
I have an HDK front and control freak triangulated rear. The OP didn't state which end of the car . I have been very pleased with both for about 10 years.
when I had my R/T I EFI'd the 505" and used a cs130 , just replace the serp. pulley with a GM v-pulley. buy the GM plug with the resistor built in to trigger (sense) and an 8ga wire to the battery post on the starter relay. Stock brackets and easy part store availability. ACdelco3351031 1993...
I've driven mine In the rain once (years ago). Not fun. Realistically most of us need no more than 1 speed (and usually only for state laws). I ended up getting sold the "required" 2sp switch kit, and after looking at the factory diagram and testing diagrams . Realized the factory switch and...
Oh . I got it. Having read your posts over the years. I guessed you'd appreciate a little cerebral humor. I let sentiment affect my purchase decision. It was $1700 to ship a $3000 roller (with parts)that took over a month to get here. All the BS with Uship just soured the idea. and with the...
If your serious, I just bought a 78 aspen Super Coupe shell. I had it shipped out of Utah. It has the OE flairs, spoilers and gas cap (rough). I was going to 6.1/TKO it since the drivetrain is gone. It hasn't come out of the trailer since it arrived, I'm horrible with impulse buying. PM me if...
The R/T&RR spoiler attaches to the lower rad support contour and ends before the fender. The spats curve under the fender and overlap the spoiler vertically. The SC wheel flairs stop at the forward edge in line with the fender bottom and the spoiler extends outward and attaches horizontally to...
They are unique to SC's. The a43 kit cars are similar but different. the Roadrunners and R/t's are also different. Doing a search on ffmjbo ,there was a guy reproducing fine examples in glass (all 5 pieces) who has since departed. The spoiler only fits with the flairs as it's integral. The car...
I'm up in the air on this one. I bought it as a roller for a 6.1 I have. It was such a hassle getting it here I've lost interest. I paid for it in December and finally got it in the middle of February. I've looked at it once since it arrived (for this thread).....If you know anyone....I'm sure...
I just picked up an aspen super coupe and noticed the front spoiler is mounted to the bottom of the radiator support directing air straight up to the front of the radiator and sideways out to the wheels.
