Rear suspension update: my buddy came over to weld the cross member in for the RMS coil-over kit, looks like it'll be on all 4 wheels this week and ready to swap in the 408. Then it's the big push to get the Dart back on the road and the bugs worked out, again. The new seats also showed up.

This is the powerplant until I change my mind again: 408 from a 73 360 block zero decked, forged ross pistons, forged eagle rods, forged Mopar performance crank neutral balanced, shaved ported heads with big valves, edlebrock vistor jr intake, prw rocker arms, comp roller cam, morel roller...

Finally got my replacement engine back from the builder...life lesson learned. On the plus side, everything is all ready to go minus a couple of odds and ends.

Well good news on the new engine, FINALLY....my engine builder felt terrible for what happened so he's building a 408 free of charge and fixed the bent valves. Forged Ross pistons and I decided to go with eagle forged rods also along with retrofit roller lifters since were going with a 73 360...

I would go with an OE style tank BUT my floor is cut out for the current fuel cell I have and the mustang tank actually cover the entire area I'd need to replace to run a factory tank. I did see those tanks though, wish I would've before a bit the bullet and cut the trunk pan last year...

UPDATE: I spoke with my engine builder and he's going to warranty his work. He's giving me a new block, crank, rods, cam, lifters and replace the junk piston.

Im leaning towards that direction, my 89 W250 needs a motor and that thing doesn't need loads of power so the hemi may end up in there. That or ill just store it and build it when the cost of parts goes down.

I'm going to pull the motor in the next couple weeks, it looks like rod to me
