  • I'm having the same problem that you were having with the throttle travel, I have looked for an answer everywhere and can't seem to find the solution to this problem. Please let me know how you corrected it? I have been working on Mopars for years and not ran into this problem before. My duster was a S/6 and I have a 318 (built) in it now. HELP me

    I have a 408 in my Volare wagon, and it has a factory slant six cable in it. I checked the travel on it, and it is so close to being fully open that it isn't even worth moving. The slant six cable may be the way to go. I have the motor out of the Dart right now, and will be putting the slant 6 cable on it before putting it back in

    It will tell you a hole lot more about your eng combo then just head collector length.
