Took the wheels off and sent them to powdercoat, Checking the timing it was about 6 degrees initial and 27 all in. Pretty retarded for the previous NOS set-up which would explain my overheating issues
Set it so 17 initial and 36 all in, starts and revs way easier now. had a leaky valve cover...
Had just a little spare time to get some minor things done
Replaced the return regulator with a dead-head regulator so i could eliminate the return line running close to the exhaust (Magnaflow 500 pump has a bypass at the pump)

Completely agree, the convertor and cam are an unknown to me and probably will remain unknown until/if i decide to tear it down and stroke it and change it over the pump gas.

Did some launch testing on my road. Trans brake leaves hard, weight shifts well and the car goes straight so all good things.
The line lock seems to have some sort of delay going on, doesn't release when the momentary is released. Think it has to do with the wiring gremlins.

Big block mopars just run in my blood, its hard to not want to toss that into the car, plus like i said i can swap in the running 440 and get the tranny/headers and other mounting situated and bulld the core up and then do a transplant down the road.

Interesting you bring that up, i was originally considering an 8.8 rear and have ones local in the gear ratios i wanted with disc brakes, and narrowing it to both short side axles gets me pretty close to the wms i need.
Is and 8.8 gonna hold up to 600-700hp?
