    Early A frame width

Anyone know the rear frame rail with, inside to inside on an early A? I have this from the Stahl sale and haven't found anything it fits. Thanks, Gene.

    PCV grommet

I do plan to use the baffle plate that came with the covers. If I don't come up with something else, it looks like the MRE kit is the one. Thanks!

    PCV grommet

I am looking for a push in grommet for these MP valve covers for a PCV. Have any of you guys found one that works? I ordered the one in the directions, it's not even close. I want to put it in the rear where the pop-out plug is. Thanks, Gene.

    308 heads

OK, new info... it looks like 3/8" pushrods will fit in 308 heads with the lobe lift I have. There isn't much room to spare, but enough. It also seems that I was using the wrong plunger height in the checking lifter I was using. It made things a little closer. Thanks for all the input, Gene.

    308 heads

I would do that, and I think I could do what little I need with a round hand file. But of course, the heads are already on the motor, and I am not sure about reusing Cometic gaskets.

    308 heads

Thanks, I will look. Jim @ Racer Brown lent me some the correct length but they are 3/8". There is room in the 308 heads for 3/8" but it's scarry close! Does anyone know off hand, do 1.6 rockers move the adjusting screw closer to, or further away from the shaft? Gene.

    308 heads

Where do you get 11/32" pushrods? Who supplies them?? Thanks, Gene.

    308 heads

Ok... looks like I'm ordering some pushrods. Heads are already on the motor, so grinding is out of the question. Thanks for the replies!

    308 heads

Hello, have any of you guys ever used 3/8" pushrods with 308 heads and 1.5 rockers? I have to make shorter pushrods and have a bunch of 3/8" BB odd ball length ones I can shorten, rather than messing up the small block ones. Thanks, Gene.

    No oil thru rocker shafts

That's just what I was thinking.

    No oil thru rocker shafts

I have used more than a few sets too. I checked the Isky BB rockers I dug out. They do have an inner groove like your picture, however it does not connect with either one of the oil holes. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow. Gene.

    No oil thru rocker shafts

I dug out some Isky big block rockers today. I will take one off and look for the groove. The small block ones I have don't have one. Gene.

    No oil thru rocker shafts

This is the box the rockers were in when I bought them. Along with the box flap you see. And the push rods you can see. I assumed they were Crane. The half nuts were included. Gene.

    No oil thru rocker shafts

Update, I did try a stock shaft. Things didn't change. I used a die grinder with a very small stone and made some groves in the Comp shaft. Plenty of oil out between the rockers now and leakage at the stands has slowed down to a seep. Still not seeing much out of the weep holes in the rocker...
