I think it may have come about when Chevy came along with the "rat motor 402"(396) and called it a 400 then had the "mouse motor 400" so it was called big block 400 and small block 400. Just an opinion.
That car looks great with those wheels. I've been burning CL up looking for a "deal" and only come up with rusted over priced stuff close to me. I'd be willing to drive 200mi for the "right A-body".
He didn't really say what he asking but he said he had 1500 in it. I really don't know what to offer. There aren't many old mopars around here because of the humidity and being GM country. Go to the drag strip and it is the battle of 1st gen Camaros. Gets boring.
I'm going to look at a 64 Valiant V100 wagon with a factory 273 a/t and air. It has some pretty rusy quarters and someone stated taking the water pump off and let it sit for a number of years. How rare is this beast. I know there was not a lot of v8 Valiants or a/c optioned ones, let alone V100s...
Well I got some pics of the wagon today. It has some pretty rusted quarters. Its a 273 V100 wagon with air. He's a little steep on the price and I don't know if he'll budge. I think I'm going to look at it sometime this week. Its about a 130mi trip one way.
I had a '62 Signet 200 in 1969. 2 dr hard top, white with red interior,225, 3sp.6 cyl Mustangs couldn't stay with it. Wish I could find another one. I think they were rare then. Didn't see many.
Hi guys and gals. Got a 64 Valiant wagon spotted to look at and hope to buy if it is not to rusty.Price is a little high but its been for sale for a while. I had a 62 Signet 2dr ht in high school and a few mopars since. Wish me luck!
