just returned from offshore , salvaged a platform that was downed in hurricane Ike . Ordered some goodies from US car Tool ( chassis stiffening kit) , which should be here in a couple days . One of the items in the kit is the radiator support brace ...which got me to looking at the one in the...

... might be a single barrel come to think of it ... not sure ,but it is the original carb for the 74 225 S6 and I know its a Carter .

I have a complete S6 out of my sons 74 Duster , doesn't run any more but you are welcome to any parts you need off it . the carb is sitting on my shelf in the shop ... it's a stock Carter 2bbl . I am currently offshore working so I can't help you right now but ...there you go. Rich

Today was a good day . Vaughn completed the plug welding of his AMD floor ( see Locumob he did learn to weld !) and we raised the car off the floor jacks with the new Whirlyjig rotisserie ! Tomorrow we remove the old 7 1/4 rear axle . Also I sold the 66 Ranchero , seen in the Road trip...

Oh , and I vote for Keystone Klassics . :thumbsup:

Checked the rear axle today ... it's a 741 with a sure grip ... forgot to check ratio , maybe I 'll check it later today , got honeydoos to get to now.

... did a little horsetrading and got a sweet 360 and 904 combo to tide Vaughn over till the 340 is complete ... Picked it up in Kentucky while Vaughn was on his trip to visit Grandpa ... and swung by Whirly Jig factory on the way home !!! p.s. Eric and his dad are major Mopar guys . So...

Hard to believe it's been two years since posting here . I wish I could say the car was done but... no ... work , time and money constraints , weather events and honeydoos at the ranch along with Vaughn discovering girls and losing his mind for a bit added a new layer of dust to the Duster ...

Wow , meant to post this link , Carter AVS Carburetor Kit - 69-71 Chrysler & Plymouth . fixed it . This Carter AVS Carburetor Kit | 1968 Chrysler Products is the kit for the 4401s .

I buy mine from this guy Carter AVS Carburetor Kit - 69-71 Chrysler & Plymouth ... kits are quality , I just bought two AFB kits recently from him , ethanol ready accelerator pump was standard . I think the price is right on his stuff ... he shows two different kits for the carbs you mentioned.
