Thank you everything i was remember/finding left out the 273. But this one doesnt say anything about the poly.

Can you put a poly crank in a 273? Im going to save a 273 empty block. Can I but any leftover 1965 318 poly parts in it?

I got the bouchillon kit. I have the kick-down cable all disconnected only the lever is left. Tips and tricks are very welcome. thank you.

Roommate got home and helped me out. Im only getting 9v during crank. What to do.

im going to try and run new wires from the key to the bulkhead to the relay.

Ideas to fix this?

Its 400 Ohms. Im getting 12v it at run but i dont think crank. I dont have a helper to turn the key while i check. I have a solid ground. Its got to be low cranking volts.

KitCarlson you are 100% right. Ive done all that and still no spark out of the coil wire. i swapped in the old coil and still no spark.

Found this on Moparchat "It has the same function as the single ballast resistor on a points ignition, so just think of it that way. Its purpose is to drop the voltage to the coil after the engine starts so that the coil doesn't overheat. When you crank the engine over, the ballast is bypassed...
