MP .528 solid cam questions
im running the .528 cam with 273 rockers in my stock 318 with Edelbrock heads and Holley Strip Dominator intake. it was very noisey with the lash set at 28/32 so after running in i tightened the lash to 18/18. as im runnig a 4000 stall there is no issues with low end power and the motor pulls...- benmopar318

509-557 cam in 318??
i am running .528 solid purple shaft on a stock rings and bearings 318 with Edelbrock heads, it drives sweet, can cruise all day in summer and it has enough vacuum to run power brakes and pulls hard to nearly 7000 with a 600 afb type carb. yes the Edelbrock work and they work great. I have run them on a std bore 318 with a very mild cam 202/208 @.050 417"/441" and made 224hp at 4500rpm on the rears and the car was nice and with lots of torque. now I have swapped in the purple shaft 284 adv 244 @.050 .528" solid 112 lsa and...- benmopar318

yer lash is 28/28 and only just drove it the other day it does need a bit of work but the worst thing i found my Strip Dominator is cracked so i might have to fit my Air Gap or LD340 instead, a bit disappointed but we will get there in the end. two 318's - YouTube- benmopar318
