What normal volume small block LA 360 oil pump is made in America. Internet showes Melling m-72 is made in china. I did have problems with a M-72 Melling HV last year. Just want a good standard pump made in America.
Thank big block
How about crankshaft throws instead of rod journals. Looks good to me means smooth no pits or scratches on the journals.
I asked for experts not nitpickers. I wanted some one who has actually torn an engine do once.
I,m Back. Did a little more careful measuring. Made sure I zeored the mike each time.

Guys I'm having trouble finding a manual steering box. A1 Cardone is is out of stock, rock auto doesn't list a manual box. Where can I find a manual box and the adapter. I probably can use a swivel joint to connect the shaft if I can't find the connector. Rock Auto list a pitman arm so I can...
Thanks guys. I kinda new about the adapter. A1 cardone has a rebuilt manual box for around 130. I looked at rock auto but they only showed a power steering box. They did have a manual pitman arm. I wanted to change to manual partly to install headers. The power steering exhaust manifold on the...
O.K. experts. I'm tired of fooling with power steering. what do I need to convert over to manual steering ? I know I need a manual steering sector, a manual pitman arm and what else?
Does anyone have the conversion parts they would want to sell?
The car I'm converting is a 1974 plymouth...
Thanks for the diagram. According to the diagram. Spring 19-57-64 for the lever was in backwards. I'm goin to turn it around to see if that fixes it. I'll have to wait till next week to see. I ordered a pressure hose from rock auto. Mine burst. Too much pressure I guess.
It is already off. The slide doesn't fit over the screw pin coming out of the steering sector. It couldn't move it back and forth. Must be the wrong part. When you tightened it down it just locked the screw down.
Ok I took the 2 bolts out and removed the slide valve on top. I see a exposed screw with a spring around it. Is this what I am adjusting to center the steering. Just by sliding it from side to side? It looks like you could adjust the screw for something. The slide on the top fitting had rubber...
