Is the early A pedal also different between the slant and the V8? Or is it just the linkage/plate that bolts to the firewall. The v8 pedal looks like it has a wear pad that I don't remember seeing on the slant pedal.
Thanks for the offer but I was hoping someone made reproduction versions of the consumable parts for the early pedals. I found a source from an old /6.net post but the owner/company passed away years ago.
Does anyone know where to buy replacement bushings and spring clips for an early A body gas pedal used with a slant 6 with BBS?

AFR is using 8mm valve stems. Nice, everyone else seems to be using 11/32 valves.

I have a A518 in my D150. I used a Chevy polyurethane mount and the pressure switch kit for OD. I had a new drive shaft made up which was the most expensive part of the install. Pretty simple swap.
Thanks for the tip on the IH paint. I’m in the final stages of rebuilding the 225 for my ‘65 Dart. I had a case of VHT Chrysler Red engine paint and didn’t realize I’d used it all up until it was too late. I went to order some more and found it was discontinued.
I ran out of VHT Chrysler Red (SP155) while painting my slant. Looks like the VHT SP155 has been discontinued. Does anyone know how close of a match Duplicolor Chrysler Industrial Red (DE1632) is to the VHT color?
