Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone has heard from Steve ( @valiantpatrol )
I was in contact with him, and then he just dropped off since Sept. 12. Not like him.

G’day all.
i realise most people probably throw them away, but I was wonder if any9ne had a pair of the old lower ball joint arms, for use with the screw in joint ?
Ive got later model lower ball joints, but I’m seeing how authentic I can get the car, and figured I’d chase some of the original...
G'day mate,
Look, I'm in Australia, but we got those cars down here and a lot of guys have done a lot of things to the over the years.
I had a 62 for almost 30 years. Here, we call them an S Series Valiant. I now have what you guys call a 61 model.......and R Series. The 1960 and 61 models are...
it’s incredible just how many differences there are between the 60/61 cars and the 62’s.
ive just finished a 61 after owning a 62 for almost 30 years…..I was gobsmacked.
In relation to the original post, that’s a great car to restore. The side profile of the two door models is great.
Well.....that's the other thing.
People going over there on purely money making exercises. Not just enthusiasts trying to fix their old chariots - cashing in on dirt cheap bits and putting 1000% mark up on them when they return.
Mate.....you have to understand that the conversion rate is killing Aussies at the moment. $1 Aus is about 65 cents U.S. But.....things cost about the same.
Then there's a 10% tax on the purchase price AND shipping, then there's the new checks for cars that are this old....then there's...
Hi all.
Throwing it out there again in case somebody can help.
One of the guys is currently looking for me (thanks mate), but in case he hasn't got one I figured I'd keep trying.
I'm after a reasonable turn signal arm for a 61 Val - it's the screw in type, and it's got a white tip as opposed...
Hi guys,
I know they're not real big over there, but down here in Australia 60-62 Vals are a bit of a collector piece.
Today in my State we had the All Chrysler day, and I tried my hand at a Facebook video of our cars. Doesn't go for long, but thought some may like it.

Hey Bill,
I'm interested in the speaker grille you made. I sent you a message when you get the chance.
The one you made.....that looks very close to the way they looked originally - is that right ??
