    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

I believe they would work very well. The pistons should be no problem at all as both heads share factory valve spacing. The only concern would be if they have a step on them because most W2's were open chamber and mine are not. Thanks, Rod

    New best on the AMX

Good showing, man! You have done an excellent job over the years showing what our VR-200 heads are capable of. Thank you for everything, Vick. I knew when I sold you this engine (and we talked about this) it would be a huge step in the right direction. I appreciate it more than you realize, as...

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

The barracuda in the original post ran TTI's with this engine, not the ones we tested with. I don't know if it helped or hurt it on track but, sometimes we can only do what we can do. lol Thanks, Rod

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

Yep, that's what we used. I wanted to use TTI 1 7/8" but I was afraid they wouldn't clear the back of the dyno. Thanks, Rod

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

Some of you were asking for a dyno video of this engine. It made 680 hp and 590 ft. lbs. But again, dyno's are tools not track numbers. This is my 1st attempt at uploading a Youtube video so, bear with me. Thanks, Rod

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

The cam specs are listed on this page (post 81) along with the converter. It had a ported super victor and shelf 1 7/8" TTI headers running through exhaust and no hood scoop on 93 pump gas. My Trickflow comparison post also had the Hughes flat tappet cam specs and ran 1 7/8" hedman headers and a...

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

I think you bought a really good car to start with. The gentleman that owned it prior, and built it, did a good job from what I can see. That being said, I don't think the car performed the way a lot of people on here might have expected, even with all the changes. In my estimation, the 90+...

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

The cam in this engine was a 270/278 @ .050". Converter was a shelf 5000 ATI. I don't know the launch rpm. It was a foot brake car. Thanks, Rod

    VR-200’s…… AGAIN…….

I'm not bashing Trickflow heads, I think they have their place. Also, I am not trying to undermine they're place in the SBM market. What I don't understand is, they claim the head flows 300 cfm and people eat it up without real results then, want to say "it was never marketed as a race head"...

"If someone has had better results with other heads cast like these, PLEASE let me know". Pretty much what I thought..... CRICKETS..... Thanks, Rod
