  • Hey Catfish- appreciate the compliments. Near as I can figure, yours was probably painted a diff color outside; from what I've been able to find, the original paint is a dip job in a vat or pool, hence the reason for all the drain holes in the body.
    Me, I had Rhinohide lining put on by spray rig on the bottom AND top (inside floor pans); once we got her home, I put a strong light under her and seam sealed every spot light showed through, with some of that liquid rubber spray and seam caulk. I'm hoping it won't rust again for another 46 years!

    I had to replace a couple of floor pans in my '67 Barracuda, and the paint on the tunnel, etc. looks like it is a different color from the outside of the car. Did Mopar use a different color for the floor under the carpet and underneath the car. If so, what? Also, any suggestions on undercoatings.
