The guy he built the engine for wanted a streetable sleeper. Not sure how you hide trick flows though when you open the hood.

    Salter's BBM 383 build

You need to watch a few more of his videos on this build and it will answer alot of your questions. On the ignition, he would have went aftermarket and used different plugs. He also stated that he hasn't used that type of ignition I years and had to relearn how to get it to work with the amount...

Salter Racing Engines, 383 502 Hp & Tq

I'm not convinced till I see an apples to apples test on those 2 manifolds. Ported rpm airfare will only flow 230 fish cfm and he didn't post any flow numbers for the worker and the heads. So it may or may not. Show me.

Killer mild street build. That guy has an awesome reputation. Wonder what it would make with a hotter ignition system.

    drill bit selection

I'll be doing these mods in the future, but I will try using reamer instead of drills cause they cut straighter and maintain size better especially when cutting through cross holes.

Check size. Make sure your drills are drilling size. Low rpm and slow feed. Make sure your drill is drilling straight.

    drill bit selection

These are crappy pictures and a gfs drill I found in my dad's basement. I used a big drill so you could see it better and the grinding wheel has been abused, big corner radius. I don't have a dresser here and I just haven't gotten to it.I use the side of the wheel to flatten the cutting lip.it...

    drill bit selection

If your drilling out oil lines, cobalt is going to be your toughest, but it going to take a long drill, like 9 inches, right? That's going to be expensive in cobalt. A 9/32 or 5/16 drill that long is going to twist and chatter cause it's just cutting on the outside edges. To stop all that...

I tried your calculator and it spit out 117.6 mph. That sounds about what it would trap at.

BORE SHROUDING TEST: 4.03" vs 3.91" Edelbrock RPM Heads Really Fit a 318? Project Mission Impossible

It was built with swap meet used parts and the 4.55 gears with the spool was a great deal and in really good shape. So was the cam, Crower hydraulic specs unknown but rowdy as he'll. So were the x heads, 69 stock 340 intake and 650 holley that I had modified to mechanical secondaries. Open used...

BORE SHROUDING TEST: 4.03" vs 3.91" Edelbrock RPM Heads Really Fit a 318? Project Mission Impossible

What calculator did you use? 30x9x15 goodyear racing slick. Don't you think it would have valve float in 1st and 2nd gear?
