This is definitely a 7-1/4. Guy said it was out of a 73 with a 318. I will have to open up to make sure it is a sure grip. My 7-1/4 is starting to growl on take off. I just seen this on a local add . Thought if I was going to fix I would put the guys from sure grip. Supposed has same gear...

Hello. Does anyone know if you can take a sure grip out of a 7-1/4 1973 roadrunner and put into a 1969 dart open 7-1/4 and use my small bolt axles. Side gears the same spline ?

Does anyone know if I can take the carrier ( sure grip) out of a 7-1/4 roadrunner axle 1973. And put into a 1969 dart 7-1/4 with a open. And use my axles which are small bolt pattern.
