You are right. Federal mandate required all engines and transmissions going into 1969 year model cars to be stamped with the complete vin. Mistakes happen and I have seen some with no vin whatsoever. But they are all supposed to have complete vin stamped

I do believe this is to standard bore based on the OEM part number on the original pistons. There is barely a lip in the cylinders. The block has a BH29 vin stamping indicating this is an original A Body barracuda 383 HP block. I am not sure of the value taking into consideration someone with an...
