Syracuse Nationals and the Carlisle in 2026

The Dart is gorgeous, It has my vote. The 66 is cool also, I've had one. But I love the slant. I just finish building my slant. BTW you didn't mention the exhaust manifold. Did I catch a glimpse of headers? Norm

273 Commando Spark Plug Wire Options?

I have a "slightly" related question about Commando insulators...what attaches them to the valve cover? I have a set that I want to restore with out damaging the insulators. Norm

    Hood hinges 65 barracuda

Did this installation give you any "lift" when you tripped the latch? I sort of copied your installation, but you still have to lift the hood a considerable height before the struts finish the lift. Norm

73 Dart Slant Six spark plug replacement

Good question, never gave it a thought. Every plug I've ever removed from a slant, had a washer/gasket on it. My slant right now have the washer/gaskets. Norm

    Fan backwards?

A fan (propeller) story. Way back when, I was teaching a friend to fly control-line model airplanes. Regardless of how the engine speed was adjusted, he complained that the model was flying too fast, and he was unable to overcome getting dizzy. So I removed the propeller and put it back on...

    Weekend Headliner Project

I wonder if one of these could be modified to fit a 64-66 Barracuda? A good friend of mine did a 72 Duster (similarly) with indoor/outdoor carpet. It looked great! Norm

    Veterans On the Board

USAF 67-87, Wish I had stayed for 30. I would go back in a heart beat and be able to pick up right where I left off. When I retired in 87, I just changed clothes, planes and hangars. I'm soon to be 78 and still at it. Norm

    [WANTED] Headers

Thanks Charrlie, I got in touch with them a while back, they are rich! I may just have to bite the bullet and get them. I'm still holding out on some "2nd hand ones" maybe being out there. Norm

    [WANTED] Headers

Thought about that, but the picture is a little deceiving. They are not torqued down and would require some extensive beating on. I'm also predicting a problem with the steering box. Norm
