@DustyEd was just reading your thread and wondered if you had changed it and how you made out!
I am looking into changing mine and wasn’t sure if you had any snags or tips! Thanks
Thanks all for the useful info on mek
Got the grille all but back together the other day and touched up!
It’s not perfect but for what it cost me it’s all one piece now and freshened up. For me it beats buying a new one!
Thanks! I tried the hammered look but they didn’t have any white, and I tried to paint over it but the texture wouldn’t come thru when I painted over it !!!
Hey guys it’s been a couple weeks and with being in lockdown and shelves being bare I used what I could get my hands on.
I primed up the backs and gave them a couple coats of paint. Don’t look to close as They don’t look like a set of brand new ones but I was happy with how they turned out as I...
Hello everyone! Just thought I’d share the repair on my front grille that I’ve been working on recently.
Ever since I’ve had the car the front grille has been broke right at the marker light on the drivers side and has been dangling around by a piece of wire. (you can kinda see it in the first...
Just read your thread from the start!! Awesome story glad to see you got the car back!

Thanks for the response! Never thought of using Bedliner, just wondering if you primed it first and if so if there was a specific type you used? I have sanded the back of mine that’s it so far!
If you have any pics I’d love to see!
Small world!! You must be talking about skeeter Barlows.. indeed great food!! Definitely a summer town! Hopefully moparfest will be back sooner than later! I will definitely be looking for some seat backs but trying this repair for the time being!
Thanks and Cheers
Took a putty knife and gently scraped the flaking pieces off, sanded with 400 grit and then 600 to take all the high spots out. Will try priming and painting it and if not I’ll maybe try fabricland like @4spdragtop suggested
I may just have to order some from legendary or another dealer.
Yes could be! I think I’ll try and fix these up with some sort of vinyl or something and try to find the best place to get the seat backs from ie. any Canadian companies
Thanks again
