Took a putty knife and gently scraped the flaking pieces off, sanded with 400 grit and then 600 to take all the high spots out. Will try priming and painting it and if not I’ll maybe try fabricland like @4spdragtop suggested I may just have to order some from legendary or another dealer.

I wasn’t sure if I scraped the top “plastic paint” layer off and sanded it all so it was smooth Then maybe some sort of plastic paint?

Sorry I just meant the outer plastic layer is flaking off It almost looks like it was painted as I can scratch it with my fingernail and it flakes off

Here’s a couple pics My First time doing body work so go easy haha I cut out all the rust spots, grounded back to bare medal. Then bent up the metal as close as I could and welded them in. Put as little body filler as possible and primed and painted!
