Has anyone actually done this on an A-body, using the three-on-the-tree column and shift levers on a 833 four speed gearbox? If yes, please provide some details.
If the AX15 is from a Dakota, the shifter will come up close to the torsion bar crossmember area in the transmission tunnel; not real close to the dashboard.
Guess it depends on where you live and the ambient air temperature. It's always hot in SoFlo, so we run the external transmission cooler after the radiator transmission cooler for maximum cooling.
If we ran to the external cooler first, it would cool the tranny fluid, and then the radiator...
