My carburetor is carter 2BBL and my engine 318ci. What are the modifications to use Ethanol (E-85)?

A friend, Have Coronet not with 2bbl but 1bbl carburator ( So no problem with metering rod) . He take only jet 20% bigger (58 to 72) and that's work fine with éthanol. My problem is to find the good metering rod size?

Hello.My car is stock with 318ci engine and a 2 BBd carter carburetor. To run with E85, I read the jets must be changed (Diameter size + 20%). Do you know if the metering rod should also be changed too? And how much?

I contacted Borgeson and they anserwed:"We do not recommend you use ATF. We recommend using a non-synthetic power steering fluid."So ,do you know what oil?

Borgeson sell new steering pump hoses for Saginaw only .My steering pump is Fédéral.How to connect the federal pump to my new Bogeson steering box?

I still have the problem. I start the engine and after 5 minutes, the oil is boiling and the steering pump overflow.

I understood the problem.Borgeson steering box have the assembly of inverted hoses. I had not seen it.Low pressure: left and: high pressure right.
