I've just picked up some used valve covers and rear tires and a new aircleaner, once I polish up the valve covers and install them and clean up the engine a bit ill post a new pic. Merry Christmas to everyone!
I 2nd the opinion of those who suggested getting a good 360. It would be cheaper and it would have plenty of torque and hp.
You could dress it up to look like the original 273 and have tons of fun beating on it knowing it's parts are plentiful. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for the info I'll try to see the numbers on the drivers side of the block again, it's just a hard to see location with the headers in the way. I don't think that this Notchback was on Craigslist, I got it off a FB Marketplace ad. It's a pretty good runner and doesn't need alot. But...
Hi all, my recently purchased 1967 Barracuda had the original 318 swapped out for a 360 years ago and I'm not sure weather it's from 1973 or 1978 based on the pics I was able to take. Anyone able to tell based on these pics?
Ok so I couldn't resist picking up another 67 Barracuda. I joined this forum a bunch of years back when I restored my dad's 64 Barracuda 273 for him to enjoy in his retirement years. Then I eventually bought a 67 Notchback slant 6 car for myself and ended up sinking alot of money and time...
Finished oainting in the stainless trim details today. Man my hands were shaky . Now I've got to paint the wiper blades black and use some panel gap blackened before I clear coat it and polish it.
Should have a finished picture in about 2 weeks because of work.
