Hi all, my recently purchased 1967 Barracuda had the original 318 swapped out for a 360 years ago and I'm not sure weather it's from 1973 or 1978 based on the pics I was able to take. Anyone able to tell based on these pics?

there are numbers stamped into the front of the block just under the driver's side head.

you can use those to determine most all of the info about the block.

also, if you have the block casting numbers you can ostensibly narrow it down to year groups using the info here: A Guide To Mopar V8 Cylinder Head And Block Casting Numbers

so if you think it's 73 or 78 the year breaks on the casting numbers along with the stamped info on the front of the block should narrow it down.

btw, was that the notch that was on craig's list a few weeks ago?

Thanks for the info I'll try to see the numbers on the drivers side of the block again, it's just a hard to see location with the headers in the way. I don't think that this Notchback was on Craigslist, I got it off a FB Marketplace ad. It's a pretty good runner and doesn't need alot. But I'm looking forward to slowly bringing it up to the condition it deserves to be . Thanks again.
