[WANTED] 1963 Valiant taillight assembly-drivers side

Thanks for looking. Just realized this taillight is almost the only part on the car (other than the grill) that is specific to 1963 that I can think of. There’s a left-side 63 valiant taillight on eBay for $$$. Mine is all bent out of shape and a little gnarly, but it's not $275 ugly...

Switching from Holley 1920 to Carter BBS, will this carb work?

I saw that. I plan to do the fuel line mod after I confirm I am definitely keeping the Carter on there, probably in the fall. Going to adjust the valves first too. Haven't had a chance to call QQDC quite yet, will after the 4th.

Switching from Holley 1920 to Carter BBS, will this carb work?

Looks like Gary Goers was recently acquired by another company, not able to order that bushing (part № 415) from QQDC at the moment. If you know another place to get it let me know. I'm also looking for the short carb inlet fuel fitting for the Carter to replace my Holley one that connects to...

Switching from Holley 1920 to Carter BBS, will this carb work?

Thank you slantsixdan! Very helpful response. I knew that rubber throttle rod bushing was wrong (I think it’s just a cut piece of hose) but I actually thought that twisty wire holding the was stock, like a failsafe to keep the throttle rod from popping out. Now we will see if the Carter solves...

Switching from Holley 1920 to Carter BBS, will this carb work?

Hi, I know this question has been asked a ton of times, but there are also tons of variations on these carbs. So I'm giving up on my Holley 1920, want to put a Carter BBS on. Car is a 1963 Valiant with a 225 and has the "twisty" style throttle arm linkage, not the cable. Also heard this called...

[Found!] Looking for Carter BBS single barrel, w/U-shaped linkage for throttle arm (not cable type) 1963.

Okay, yep. Not BBD, BBS. The carb I'm looking for does exist though, right?

[Found!] Looking for Carter BBS single barrel, w/U-shaped linkage for throttle arm (not cable type) 1963.

Oh, I think I meant BBS, not BBD. Whatever you call the single-barrel Carter on slant sixes in 1963, and I believe they still used the "twisty" throttle linkage instead of the cable. Here is one linked below, and a photo too. I would buy this, but it is rebuild and return only; no carb actually...

[Found!] Looking for Carter BBS single barrel, w/U-shaped linkage for throttle arm (not cable type) 1963.

Have a 1963 Valiant with a slant 6 and a Holley 1920. Looking to replace the Holley with a Carter BBD from the same era with the same U-shaped linkage bracket that the throttle arm connects to. I think this was only used from 61-63 (not sure) and I'm not seeing any around. I'm looking to switch...

    63 Valiant project

Hi all, first post. I just acquired a low mileage 1963 valiant. Someone painted it Honda civic silver in 1986 but other than that it’s all original. I’m using it as a daily driver in a major city, lots of stopping, and I want to address the weak 9” drums brakes. I have oem 13” sbp wheels. I...
