I'm moving to Keyser,WV in a week. I need to know if anyone can recommend a good machine shop that can rebuild my 225. I know it's going to need head work(low compression). Would like to have the motor rebuilt for a Super Six set-up. Already have intake, exhaust manifold and 2bbl BBD from a 318...
I need a firewall grommet to plug the hole where the speed cable enters the interior from the engine firewall. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Dane.
Will a 67-69 gas pedal fit a '63 A-body Dart? Need to know, because, I want to convert to a Buchillon kickdown and throttle kit for a Super Six conversion.
Will the gas pedals work on a '63 Dart for a Super Six conversion? If so, I'd like to get a $25 one. Going to upgrade to a Buchillon Performance kickdown and throttle cable conversion.
Carb only has one vacuum port and the PCV port on the flange plate. Casting for base plate is 2441. Upper casting is 6-2138. Float body is C-2373. Aluminum tag 8146S 0287 Would this work for my application?
I've got a Carter 8146 off a '77 318, would like to have it rebuilt and replace the choke lever to the /6 one for my '63 Dart. All State Carburetor restores Carter carbs. Is there any problem with having this carb modified for my application. I'm going to be using a Buchillon Performance...
I have the same external filter(orange) on my 63 GT.There also is a filter in the transmission. I went to Autozone today, ordered a Champion/AZ Filters #416461 T414 Transmission Filter kit. Is this correct for the 1963 A904?
It will be going on my 63 225/6 and I don't see any issues as far as the PCV port angle. I'm also going tobe purchasing a BBD off of a 77 318 from a friend. If I'm not running any Pollution devices other than the PVC, can I use a 67-72 breather?
Update: Thanks guys for the sparkplug advice. I wasn't happy with the ACDelco Rapid fire plugs. Bought the suggested NGK's. 63 Dart GT's 225/6 seems to welcome the new power increase from the 3459's.
