Ive recently collected a 8.75 rear end from a 70’s charger that I wanna swap in my 65 dart instead of the 7.25 rear end. but the 8.75 is much wider than the original 7.25 rear end. is the only thing to do narrowing the 8.75? I think the 7.25 is around 51 inch and the 8.75 is around 57-58...

i have a A833 OD, and can't really find any molar engine in my country. but i have a 260 cui ford engine laying around, and was thinking about if i could use that on my a833 od

if i find another rear end, but is's much longer than my stock one, can i cut so it fit's or is that too much work ?

so guys, my 7 1/4 rear end has got two busted axles, and i need them replaced. in advanced, i am not looking to swap my rear end, cause the 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 is impossible to find in denmark. the car is a 65 dodge dart 4 dr 170 slant six. the 7 1/4 is 51.400 inch with the 5x4 1/2 bolt pattern...

the problem is, that im in denmark and you are in the US :)

where did you get that OD kit ?

it cant be done any cheaper? its nearly 800 for the whole shifter package

i came across this hurst kit Hurst 4 Speed Street Super Shifter Kit Mopar A Body A833 Type 421 but i really dont know much about, it's my first manuel conversion im used to automatics. so i will take all the help i can get.

i need some help. how to i identify what type my A-833 od transmission is. im about to buy a shifting linkage kit, but i need to know if mine is a 421 or a 422 type. Thanks - Kenneth

im working on a crysler, i got an a883 od but i find it hard finding a mopar engine in my country, so if it was possible i world use an ford or chevy engine with the a833 od
